Aerial Robotics with STM32F100RB Microcontroller is a book written by Sheikh Muhammad Ibraheem also known as S.M. Ibraheem.

About the Book: 

The purpose of the book is to provide the basic information on the aerial robotics and how the basic quad copter is designed using STM32F100RB microcontroller. The book explains the basic mathematical equations and matrix transformations,  and how a quad copter flies in the air.

About the Author:

Sheikh Muhammad Ibraheem born in Pakistan in the year 2000. He belongs to a Sheikh family in Sargodha. S.M Ibraheem moved to Lahore in year 2009 to pursue higher education. He completed his high school from "Laurelbank Public School System" in year 2017, He graduated from Aspire Group of Colleges Lahore in Faculty of Science (FSC) - Pre Engineering. with distinction in the year 2019. 

During his high school and college he found himself interested in physics and engineering. His interest led him to "The University of Lahore" where he got admission in Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in a 4 year degree program from 2019 - 2023.

In his first year in the university he designed a COVID 19 software project whereas in his second year he designed a AC - DC variable power supply and a quad copter.

S.M Ibraheem also holds various certificates from Australian National University, The University of Edinburgh and many more in collaboration with edX and Coursera.

AC-DC Power Supply 1 ( Block Diagram)

  THEORETICAL BLOCK DIAGRAM So the basic purpose of a power supply is to convert and AC signal to DC Signal. The block diagram of the power supply would be something like given below The small electronic circuits cannot handle high voltage current. So a transformer is used to reduce the AC input and will give the required AC voltage value at output Now to convert an AC signal to DC signal A rectifier is used. The output from the rectifier is not a pure DC output. In fact, it contains a lot of ripples and it is highly not smooth. To make the DC output smooth and remove the AC content of the rectifier a filter circuit is used. This filter is either LC (inductor-capacitor) filter, RC (resistive – capacitive) filter. The choice of the filter depends on the designer of the circuit and to the type of power supply. The output now becomes a full DC with constant signal but still it is unregulated voltage.
